A checkout that understands
your country-specific settings
Selling across borders means more than translating a few labels. A checkout that feels local earns trust, reduces friction and converts better. Loki Checkout is built for exactly that: translated out of the box, aware of each country's conventions, and fair in its pricing wherever your customers happen to live.

Translation alone is not localization. Each country has its own conventions for addresses, phone numbers, tax identifiers and postal codes. Loki Checkout offers country-specific modules that adapt the checkout fields to the market you are selling into — so a Dutch customer sees a Dutch address form and a French customer sees a French one, without any custom work on your side.
Placeholders
Field placeholders follow local expectations. A Dutch postcode field hints at 1234 AB, a German one at 10115, and a French phone field shows 06 12 34 56 78. Shoppers instantly recognise the format they are asked for, which cuts down on entry mistakes.
Labels
Labels adapt to local terminology. "State" becomes "Province" in the Netherlands, "County" in Ireland and disappears entirely where it is not used. Address fields are ordered and named the way each country expects, not forced into a single US-centric layout.
Input masks
Input masks guide shoppers as they type. Postal codes, phone numbers, VAT identifiers and IBANs are formatted on the fly according to the selected country's pattern, so data is captured cleanly and validation passes on the first try.
Filters
Filters normalise and constrain input per country. Postcodes are upper-cased and spaced correctly, phone numbers are stripped to a canonical form, and fields that do not apply to a market are hidden — keeping stored data consistent and your address validation reliable.
Current country modules
Current language packs
Every string in the Loki Checkout is translatable and we maintain Magento language packs for locales across Europe and key markets worldwide. Drop in a language pack and the entire checkout — buttons, validation messages, error states and confirmations — speaks your customer's language.
The locales below are supported today, including multiple regional variants where a country ships more than one official language. The list is configurable, so adding a new market is a matter of enabling its pack.
Purchasing Power Parity discounts
A price that is reasonable in one country can be out of reach in another. Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) discounts let you adjust pricing based on the local purchasing power of each market, so your offer feels fair everywhere you sell.
With the Loki Checkout, we are eager to make Magento affordable for everyone. Because of this, we offer PPP discounts to merchants from emerging markets, like Asia, Africa and Latin America. When offering this discount, we require both the developer and the merchant to be from the stated country. Send us an email at to learn more.
